The H.O.P.E. Expo was created to link area residents with vital health and wellness resources. It was hosted by MCC Phi Theta Kappa, MCC Special Olympics Club, Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, and The S.P.O.T.

When 81 year old Columbus Thedford enrolled in MCC's Adult Literacy Program, he couldn't read. Now, through classes twice a week with instructor Susie Chapman, he can pick up a book or fill out forms.
