Meridian Community College welcomed about 115 new students at the first orientation session, helping them prepare for the Fall Semester 2026. Additional orientation sessions are scheduled for July 16, Aug. 5 and Aug. 14 in McCain Theater.
MCC's Dental Hygiene Technology Program Class of 2026 achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the national credentialing exam. This year's class includes Brittney Martin, Reagan Dyess, Neena Walters, Anna Grace Hoover, Ariadna Magana, Ashlee McDonald, Courtney Odom, Natalie Pierce, and Megan Rodriguez.
As they prepare for the new academic term, MCC's Ivy League Recruiters completed a two-day training seminar focused on campus tours, event support, customer service, team building, letter writing, and hands-on practice for recruiting events.
For 33 years, Kay Thomas has helped tell the story of Meridian Community College with dedication, professionalism, and care. Her talent, strong work ethic, and commitment to the College have earned her the MCCer of the Month award for June.
