Eagles for Life: A Night of Hope and Remembrance will be held on Sept. 26 at MCC's Smith Soccer Complex. The event will celebrate cancer survivors, honor those still fighting, recognize caregivers, and remember loved ones lost to cancer.
Jimmyia Smith, an advisor for Pre-Nursing, Health Care Assistant, and EMS at Meridian Community College, has been named MCCer of the Month for August.
Now in her 25th year at MCC, Kristy Ethridge serves as coordinator and instructor for the Health Care Assistant Program, and has been named the July MCCer of the Month.
Alumnus Jack Rigdon says MCC's Industrial Maintenance Program prepared him for the job and helped him stand out in the workplace. "There are things the program demonstrated that I still use every day in my career."

Meridian Collegiate Academy (MCA) began its second year as returning students welcomed 19 newcomers. MCA allows students to complete high school requirements while taking college courses on the MCC campus.
