
Orientation is a one-day event designed to help new MCC students get familiar with campus, connect with helpful resources, meet staff, find classrooms, and prepare for a successful start at Meridian Community College. Students may attend Orientation after they have been admitted to MCC, even if they have not yet registered for classes.
Orientation is for students who are new to MCC and have already been admitted to the College.

Registration for each Orientation session closes one week before the event date.
Orientation is designed to help you learn how things work at MCC and feel more confident before classes begin. During Orientation, you will:

Check in at McCain Theater.

Attend a campus life fair and talk with representatives from the Eagle’s Nest Bookstore, Cafeteria, Student Support Services, Student Success Center, and other campus departments.

Meet with your MCC advisor.

Find your classrooms, either on the main campus or at the Workforce Development Center.

Get your Student ID and parking decal after registering for classes.
Visit meridiancc.edu/apply and submit a Fall 2026 application for admission. You will also need to submit your official High School, College, or GED transcripts to the Admissions Office.
After you have been admitted, your MCC advisor can help you select and register for the classes you need.
You may bring guests with you to Orientation. A special breakout session for parents will be offered during the event.
