Meridian Community College honored Dr. Sarah Abernathy, David Garner, and David Quave during its annual Hall of Fame ceremony, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the institution and the wider community.
Dr. Leia Hill received the Leadership Award from the Women in Higher Education Mississippi Network, signifying the recognition of her excellent leadership qualities, her ability to lead others, and her commitment to making a significant difference at MCC.
Dr. Sarah Abernathy lives her dream of caring for others as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Geriatric Scholar with the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Garner knows Meridian Community College was instrumental in his career. "I'd like to thank MCC for laying a solid framework for my education, which helped me to advance in the business world as a successful chief financial officer," he noted.
