Meridian Community College Surgical Technology Program students learned new techniques and practices while attending the Association of Surgical Technologists in New Orleans.
The Women's Foundation helped MCC Nursing student Jaquella Pritchett with gas cards and childcare and preparing to take the National Council Licensure Examination.
For six months, students in the Phlebotomy Essentials Program have studied, drawn and collected blood samples, and performed at least 100 sticks. Now they're ready to prepare for their national certification.
