Meridian Community College's Casteel Gallery will wrap up the Alabama Art Casting: Group Show and Happenings exhibit with a closing reception on Thursday, Jan. 30.
The cookoff, hosted by MCC Student Activities, brought together students, faculty, and staff for a fun-filled event celebrating culinary creativity and community spirit. The next Chili Cookoff is planned for Fall Semester 2025.
Drawing inspiration from the wisdom of the iconic civil rights leader, speakers at MCC's MLK Celebration emphasized the program's theme, Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence 365.
To connect students with local and campus agencies and to offer support in academic, personal, and professional areas, Meridian Community College hosted its twice-annual Resource Fair in Ivy-Scaggs mall.
With the theme of "Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence 265," the event will begin at 1 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Workforce Room 171 of MCC Riley Workforce Development Center.
