College 4 Kids: The fun begins Monday
With classes ranging from rocket blasting to slime making to lamb feeding, Meridian Community College's College 4 Kids is back again with youths aged 6-12 on campus to learn, have fun, and make memories.

With classes ranging from rocket blasting to slime making to lamb feeding, Meridian Community College's College 4 Kids is back again with youths aged 6-12 on campus to learn, have fun, and make memories.
The show is set for June 23-25, with performances at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24, and a 3 o'clock matinee on Sunday, June 25. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Participants joined monthly online sessions focused on healthy relationships, financial literacy, and balancing work, life, school, and others. The MCCers received $250 and a new HP laptop computer for their successful efforts.
Martin credits his MCC instructor, Tammy Miles, for directing him to choral music. "She helped me to see what it would look like for me to pursue what I loved instead of something that was not my passion," he said.
Meridian Community College recognizes scholastic achievements by publishing the President's and Dean's lists at the end of the fall and spring semesters.
