Using the theme, "Lead Where You Are - Grow Where You Are Planted," Meridian Community College staffer Marion Whiting encouraged students to get involved in campus and leadership opportunities.
Preliminary numbers show that more students are choosing Meridian Community College this fall, with the College's enrollment and credit hours on the upswing - outpacing the statewide average.
"We need each other's unique set of skills and leadership qualities to be our best selves for those we serve both inside our organization and in our community."
MCC will honor those who have given sacrificially and their families with a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag-raising ceremony on Friday, Sept. 19, at 9 a.m. in front of the Ivy-Scaggs Hall circle.
