A partnership among the City of Meridian, MCC, and Specialty Roll Products led to the Grassroots Mayor's Job Fair, connecting residents with employment opportunities and a chance to build better futures.
MCC's annual Candy Cruise brings together campus teams and organizations who transform the track into a colorful lineup of themed booths overflowing with candy and creativity.
The Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut returned to Meridian Community College's track, celebrating survivors, honoring patients, and raising awareness for breast cancer.
Kate Kirkland, who serves as human resources coordinator, has been part of the MCC family for five years. Known for her professionalism and kindness, she greets everyone who walks into the HR office with a friendly welcome and a willingness to help.
"My biggest goal is simple: keep this campus safe while building strong relationships. Students and staff should feel secure, but also know they can approach us, talk to us, and trust us," Dearman said.
