MCC Rock Band

The Meridian Community College Rock Band performs classic rock, Motown, funk, and more at MCC events, community gatherings, and festivals both on and off campus. The band also serves as the live ensemble for the MCC Dimensions.

Scholarships are available to qualified MCC students who pass an audition. The band rehearses at least five hours a week during the Fall and Spring semesters: Tuesdays from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Additional rehearsals outside of class are required to prepare for upcoming shows.

Formed in 2005 as part of the MCC Dimensions, the Rock Band begins an exciting new chapter in Fall 2026, performing its own shows while continuing to back the Dimensions.
