Radiologic Technology is a general education and clinical training program designed to prepare students for entry-level Radiography. General education and radiography courses are taught on campus with clinical instruction and experience provided in local and regional affiliated radiology centers. Competency-based instruction is provided so that skills and proficiency are attained. After successful completion of the coursework and clinical instruction, the student is awarded the degree of Radiologic Technology- Associate of Applied Science.
The purpose of the program is to provide the health care community with graduates who are competent, employable entry-level radiographers, compassionate care givers and dynamic members of the total health care team. Meridian Community College Radiologic Technology graduates are to value and integrate learning as a life long process.
