Industrial Maintenance Technician is a two-year (for credit) certificate program that provides students with the technical knowledge necessary for success in the field of manufacturing equipment maintenance. For more information on this program read the gainful employment disclosure.

MCC's Industrial Maintenance Technician program focuses on recognized areas of expertise needed for maintaining equipment in the manufacturing setting. Located in the former Wal-Mart building, the Workforce Development Center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment and a highly capable staff.

   Students will receive instruction and training in:

OSHA/ Safety Training Math & Measurement
Hydraulics Blueprint Reading
Pneumatics Electricity
Robotics Control Systems
PLC (Programmable Logic Control) Mechanical Systems
Rigging Troubleshooting
Pipefitting Welding
AC/DC Circuits Precision Machining
Motor Control Preventive Maintenance

Those who complete the program will enter the workforce qualified as entry level maintenance technicians. Graduates will also be ready to enter apprenticeships in several construction trades.
