Surgical
Technology Program

MCC's Surgical
Technology Program is a one-year certificate program. The program comprises
three semesters of study for the Certificate. You must attend full-time each semester regardless of the number of hours earned [full-time status is
defined as 12 or more semester hours], excluding the summer term. A
certificate is available upon completion of the first year of study. For more information on this program read the gainful employment disclosure.
PROGRAM
PROGRESSION
A grade of “C” or
higher is required in all SUT program specific courses. A cumulative GPA of
2.0 (a “C” average) or higher is required to progress in the program. All
coursework must be passed.

ACCREDITATION
Program
accreditation is an indicator of a “quality educational program”
that meets national standards. MCC’s Surgical Technology program is
an "Accredited” program.
