Scholarship matters: LFW helps MCC students

Thanks to LFW Ministries Incorporated, some single-parent students in Meridian Community College’s Business and Office Technology Program, will get a financial helping hand for their textbooks and other needs.

The organization recently donated $1,000 to its annual scholarship, which is funded through the MCC Foundation. The scholarship was established in 2014. “We are grateful for organizations, like LFW Ministries, that believe and support the power of education,” said Leia Hill, MCC vice president for institutional advancement and executive director of the MCC Foundation.

Its mission is to inspire personal visions and encourage spiritual development; empowering individuals to build stronger relationships and communities.
