State Auditor Presentation
State Auditor Stacy Pickering, presented a meritorious certificate to Dean of Fiscal Affairs Amy Brand, at Hardin Hall. The certificate acknowledges MCC’s status as a “low-risk auditee,” meaning that the State Auditors’ office has found the college to be in compliance with all state and federal auditing guidelines pertaining to its financial operations. Elliott noted, “MCC has earned the low-risk auditee designation for many years in a row, and that’s something in which we take great pride. To me, it’s a designation that provides taxpayers with an assurance that MCC conducts its business in a proper fashion, which is essential to the public trust.”
