"Give Kids a Smile"

Each February a national event occurs, “Give Kids a Smile” which is an effort in the dental field to help meet the needs of children who may not have access to care.

Friday, Feb 5, the Dental Hygiene Dept participated along with 10 Meridian dentists in helping provide exams, cleanings, x-rays, and sealants to approximately 300 elementary age children from the Meridian city schools.

The dental hygiene clinic will saw 38 children from Harris elementary from 8:30 – 12:30.

The dental hygiene first and second year students, and the dental assisting class will be providing care.
