Ann Necaise, division director of Teacher Recruitment of the Mississippi Department of Education, makes a point during her talk to attendees at Tuesday’s gathering of Future Educators of America (FEA) meeting at Meridian Community College. Necaise discussed scholarships and incentives offered by the state to encourage students in pursuing a degree in education. She also spoke of the alternate route into education and the new criteria for teacher certification and recertification.
