Nine newly graduated Meridian Community College students received their paramedic pins during a reception held on campus Monday.
The honorees included Cameron Boggan of Fellowship; Matt Putnam and Daniel Connnelly, both of Union; Jared Graham of Little Rock; PJ Burr of Decatur; Jocelyn Webber and Ollie Borwn, both of Meridian; Montana Brown of Toomsuba and Kevin Tyson of Butler, Ala.
“They are all good students and will make good paramedics,” said MCC Paramedic Technology Program Coordinator and Instructor Steven Todd. He noted all the students balanced work and school and worked outside the classroom. Members of the class will sit for their national board exams later this week.
