Write the equation for a line that contains the point (3, -4) and has a slope m = 0.
Note: If the slope = 0, the line is a horizontal line.
A horizontal line does not have an x variable.
So, if the point is
(3, -4), the equation
would be y = -4
or
y y1 = m ( x x1 )
y + 4 = 0 ( x 3 )
y + 4 = 0
y = -4
