January 3rd –  Last day for students to withdraw
January 9th & 10th – Proctored final exam (8am-7pm for January 9th, 8am-4pm January 10th)

Proctored Final Exam
A proctored final exam will be required for the course and administered on Thursday, January 9th or Friday, January 10th at the MCC eLearning Center during operating hours or anytime on these days through ProctorU using a compatible device with microphone and webcam. NOTE: There is a fee for using ProctorU that students are responsible for paying. All appointments will be scheduled through Proctoring which is located in the left menu in your Canvas course. A current MCC ID or valid driver’s license will be required for test proctoring.

  • Registration
    Current MCC students can register for Holiday Term courses through Eaglenet. Newly admitted MCC students can register by contacting an advisor at 601-483-8241 or advising@meridiancc.edu. Registration will close at the end-of-business on Tuesday, December 17th.
  • Tuition/Fees
    MCC students classified as MS residents enrolled full-time (12 hrs. or more) for the Spring 2020 semester: No additional tuition charged, students are responsible for any fees associated with Holiday Term courses.
    Mississippi resident students not enrolled at MCC full-time (12 hrs. or more) for the Spring 2020 semester: $160 per credit hour, students are responsible for any fees associated with Holiday Term courses.
    Out-of-state students enrolled full-time (12 hrs. or more) for the Spring 2020 semester: No additional tuition charged, students are responsible for any fees associated with Holiday Term courses.
    Out-of-state students not enrolled at MCC full-time (12 hrs. or more) for the Spring 2020 semester: $187 per credit hour, students are responsible for any fees associated with Holiday Term courses.
    All students will be charged a technology fee, online course fee, and eBook fee for each Holiday Term course.
  • Withdrawing from Class
    Students may withdraw from the course without penalty if no submission is made in the course. After a submission is made, students will have to withdraw through their Eaglenet account via the Student Drop Request form and will be assessed charges for the course.
  • eBooks
    All Holiday Term courses will use an eBook delivered via RedShelf or require no text. Students can access the eBook by logging into Canvas, clicking on the course in the Course dropdown menu, and clicking RedShelf in the left navigation course menu.
