Welcome to the Home of MCC Eagle Golf!

Over the past decade MCC has established its golf program as one of the best in the region. Since 1991, MCC has captured 11 NJCAA Region 23 Team Championships. On the national scene, MCC has posted 5 Top-Five NJCAA National Championship finishes, including National Championship Runner Up finishes in 1998 and 2010, along with Third Place finishes in 2006 and 2007. MCC is the ONLY Division I NJCAA golf program in the Gulf States (NJCAA Region 23).

Along with team success, 18 MCC golfers have been named NJCAA All-American and 8 have captured the Region 23 Medalists title. Since the mid-90's, MCC has sent 27 players to the next level, including NJCAA Hall of Fame golfer- Robert Dreyfus, who played his golf at the University of Mississippi, a member of the SEC. In 2006, the Eagles had three golfers sign with four year colleges/universities- Matt Ellis (Southern Illinois), Jordy Hayden (Troy University) and Shane Parker (William Carey College) followed by two more in 2007 as Justin Eaves (Troy University) and Dustin Petit (University of Louisiana- Lafayette) singed with four-year programs. Then in 2008, three Eagles also inked with Universities in South Carolina (Josh Ivy), Kentucky (Jarrod Lemaster) and Oklahoma (Joe Konieczny). All in all, MCC has placed golfers at such schools as Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Middle Tennessee State, Delta State, University of New Orleans, and many others.

But the MCC Golf Program is about more than winning on the golf course, it is about learning how to succeed in the classroom, out in the community and in life. The MCC Golf Team has participated in many community charities including Love's Kitchen, Hope Village for Children and Toy's For Tots. Players that experience MCC Golf learn skills such as: hard work, discipline, winning, team work, and commitment.

Along with a great athletic tradition (in all sports), MCC provides the state's best education at a two year institution. Many MCC student athletes go on to pursue their dream at four year institutions, earning their undergraduate and postgraduate degree's. Seven MCC golfers have been named NJCAA Academic All-American and last year MCC once again had graduation rate of near 100%.
