Former Meridian Community College standouts Kenny Roberts and Ben Kingsley had solid weekends to lead their respective teams. Roberts made his debut over the weekend at second base for the University of Alabama. Roberts finished the weekend with three hits, including his first home run with the Crimson Tide. Roberts played at MCC from 2010-2011 and was named an NJCAA All-American during his sophomore season with the Eagles.

Kingsley had a huge weekend for Delta State with five base hits in six plate appearances for the Statesmen. Kingsley had two singles, two doubles, a triple, and six RBI's in a 20-4 win last weekend over Montevallo. Kingsley played at Meridian from 2010-2011 and led the NJCAA in home runs (19) during his final season with the Eagles.
