More than 150 new students took their first steps toward finding their wings during the MCC's latest one-day orientation session. The event provides an opportunity to explore the MCC campus, learn about available resources and prepare for the start of the fall semester.

Samuel Rhodes received his technical certificate from MCC's Welding and Cutting Technology Program during the Summer Commencement ceremony. The 19-year-old fitter-welder reads drawings, cuts steel, and joins pieces to create beams and columns.
Six Meridian Community College Practical Nursing Program graduates were honored during the program's pinning ceremony for being the first group to complete the Ochsner Rush MA-to-LPN Upgrade Program.
